Mitchell Council have a “Community Questions” procedure which provides a way for community members to ask 2 questions at a Community Questions and Hearings Meeting. If the person asking the question is present (in person or via internet link) the question and answer is read out. Written answers are provided questions whether the person asking the questions attends the meeting.
The procedure outlines Councils rules around this procedure including time allocated to answering questions, ability to take questions ‘on notice’ etc.
